The person planning Chirp
Chirp is a WordPress plugin I'm planning for 2027. It is early, and this site describes where I'm heading rather than a finished product.
I plan it around one question I've had to answer as a plugin author: what does a plugin still have to do years after launch?
Why you can trust me on this
- Dozens of plugins built and released, five on WordPress.org
- In WordPress since 2007, and on the web since 1996
- I built Vortops, the artificial intelligence (AI) gateway behind my own themes, plugins and tools, so Chirp is planned alongside real infrastructure
- I would rather tell you a feature isn't ready than announce it early
